I have upgrade my heart rate strap because the plastic strap was driving me nuts. I love the fabric strap when running because it is so comfortable and I forget it is there. And it is easy to wash after the workouts. Just a simple rinse while in the shower. (Posted on 4/15/13)

I upgraded to this heart rate strap from my cheaper version which has a plastic front. The soft strap does make wearing the monitor a bit more comfortable but I personally don't think there is all that big a difference. If you already have the monitor with the plastic front don't waste your money on this since there really isn't a huge difference and it works exactly the same as the plastic one. (Posted on 8/16/11)
