Designed for open water and pool swimming, Forerunner 910XT is water resistant to 50 m (164 ft). It’s our first multisport watch to offer extensive swim metrics, including swim distance, stroke identification, stroke count and pool lengths. It also computes your swolf score to help you gauge your swimming efficiency. The 910XT’s robust design and easy operations make it suited for other water sports, including paddle boarding.
Because it’s GPS-enabled, Forerunner 910XT even captures the path you traveled so you can view it later on a map in our free online community, Garmin Connect™. This feature can help you analyze your open water swimming and adjust your technique as needed.
Whether you’re training or racing, every second counts, so the 910XT makes it easy and seamless to transition between sports. The auto multisport feature lets you switch sport modes with just 1 button press, so you don’t lose precious seconds in transition. The optional quick release mount allows you to move the 910XT easily from wrist to bike.
Try it Dry
On land, Forerunner 910XT offers many of the features of Garmin’s advanced cycling computers and sport watches to accurately capture your time, distance, speed or pace and more. The 910XT is our first multisport device to incorporate a barometric altimeter for highly accurate elevation data, including ascent, descent and grade. Configurable data fields let you customize multiple training pages for each sport. Set up vibration alerts to give a silent nudge when you hit a split, when it’s time to take nutrition or if you need a little feedback to stay within range of your goals. With these high-level features and up to 20 hours of battery life, the 910XT is ideal for athletes training for ultras or iron distance tris.
Take it to the Next Level
For advanced training, the 910XT is compatible with ANT+™ sensors, including the optional speed/cadence sensor for cycling or premium heart rate monitor (included with some models). You can pair the 910XT with an existing ANT+ heart rate monitor or purchase as an accessory.
And for those data-driven athletes, the 910XT also is compatible with ANT+ power meters, like Vector™, Garmin’s pedal-based power meter.

Top Flight Piece of Equipment Review by Chris
I love to keep track of progress and love statistics. This is a great product. There is a learning curve, but it has more functionality that you can possibility imagine. Highly recommended. (Posted on 12/29/13)
Amazing Watch Review by Josh Shimel*
Garmin has done it again! This watch is great, all the swim analytics are outstanding. The reduced size of the watch itself is nice. It is pretty compact for a GPS/HR monitor. I do find some troubles with satellite reception in open water. It's worth the money though. (Posted on 11/25/13)
Great Product Review by Erik
Love my new Garmin. Similar to most, it can have some issues in the water (with losing satellite signal), but otherwise, it's been an outstanding product for me. The MultiSport feature is fantastic - I only wish I could get more out of it in terms of knowing certain measurables while riding. Hard to scroll through and see watts, power, etc. (Posted on 10/3/13)
A Must Have for Triathletes Review by Nancy Ovitt*
This is the best all around multi-sport watch ever made. Garmin finally figured out the swim! This device is super easy to use, it's smaller than other multi-sport watches, and the display is still big enough to read multiple data points all at once. The GPS connects much faster than other GPS devices too. I can't live without this thing. Well worth the investment. (Posted on 7/2/13)
LOVE LOVE LOVE Review by Scott Askins*
I LOVE this watch... I was a long time 310XT fan... and decided to take the leap and upgrade to the 910XT... I LOVE THIS WATCH!!!! I recently used it for a pool swim training session and the accuracy was truly incredible... and now I have the ability to log my swims without missing a lap or worry about counting laps on those long sets... and more importantly... I now have ability to download the data and look at my efficiency... I have been able to zero in on when and where I am putting in an efficient stroke because of the data available. I cannot imagine ever doing an event without this watch... for that much... I will never do even a training event without it! (Posted on 4/23/13)
Excellent Review by TK
Love the functions of this watch. 305 was a good watch BUT this watch goes to the next level. (Posted on 7/4/12)
Excellent ! Review by Chris
. Just got this the other day took it out for a run. Very easy to use straight forward instructions. Picked up satalites quickly. The pairing with my PC to upload to garmin was very easy. If your using Training Peaks follow there instructions and the upload was also easy. Definatly would recomend it for any triathelete (Posted on 5/31/12)
Great watch for triathletes Review by Relax
I love that this watch suits my needs from swimming to biking and running. Can even do a "multisport mode" which pretty much tells you your swim time, T1, bike time, T2, and run time.
The light is bright enough that the display is visible under water. Can customize displays for every sport up to 4 screens based on what you need.
One thing I don't like as much is going through the menus to change the display. I wish Garmin had a way to do this through Garmin Connect. Makes choosing and switching fields a breeze.
Other than that, I love it! (Posted on 5/23/12)
AMAZING! Review by Daniel
A triathletes dream come true in a watch! Not only does it look nice but the function is unparalleled. With ANT+ Pairing this device in my opinion makes it far superior to the polar watch. The ability to track a plethora of stats with one device is an easy choice. The Swim mode works flawlessly in the pool. I get a nice count on swim lengths without a hitch. I also now get a new ability to compare my previous pool trainings using the SWOF score rather than just times. Running is no different from your previous Garmin watches and works great. I have yet to take this watch out on a long bike ride but I can already tell that the battery life is much better then my previous Garmin Forerunner 405 which I was using for my Bike and Run. Obviously we know Garmin has been making great run and bike tracking devices for quite some time. What I cant wait for is when Vector gets released to be able to analyze power from each foot. For those who dont want to wait the watch has the ability to currently pair with other power meters available with ANT capability. I will be purchasing another one for my Brother because he is an Ultrarunner and needs a watch that can last. If you are a triathlete doing some watch shopping and are questioning the price do yourself a favor and do it right the first time. You wont regret it! (Posted on 1/24/12)
