About time... Review by Joel S.
I've been riding for 10+ years. When I first started riding I thought saddle pain and numbness was a right of passage, just another "thing" you endured because you enjoyed the feeling and satisfaction of riding. Once I realized all the marketing and research that has gone into saddles I decided to begin my search for a comfortable saddle - I tried Fizik, Specialized, and Selle Italia. All were better than what I had, but all still hurt...and the numbness was always there.
Finally, I turned to ISM - it's about time someone takes saddle comfort seriously. While I ride the Fizik Airone on my road bike, only the ISM was comfortable while maintaining the aero position for long rides. THANK YOU ISM for developing a saddle that works! (Posted on 6/2/13)
the buck (or should i say 'butt') stops here! Review by Hayden "Chip" Leon*
if you have read other reviews of mine, this one is similar: i have tried many a saddle to find THE perfect one for me. my rear has scorned many a saddle as i kept riding on never quite happy with what was between my legs. once i found the adamo though, it was game over. for males, you will not have an perenal issues with this one whatsoever (as noted, i have tried a few "soft" nose and "channel" saddles to no affect). the padding seems to be just right: not too soft, yet not too rigid. the width is seemingly just right too, as i have tried some that are either too narrow or too wide. i will say, and be forewarned - it does take some time to get the position just right. when i thought i had it right i went another three months before i realized i had had it too far back and angled too far down. to get your sit bones in the right spot with the right support took me some time, likely longer than the average bear. however once i did, perfection. long long rides are nothing more than my will and my legs - but never anymore my arse. Incredible change, I can ride forever! Review by Michael
Every rider has experienced the loss of sensation which occurs when the pudendal nerve is compressed for hours at a time. The ISM time trial has not only eliminated that, it gives a comfortable ride even for 6+ hours of riding. It has been a better aid to cycling training and comfort than almost anything else. Give one of these a try, you won't regret it. (Posted on 2/28/13)
