COMFORT & CUSHIONING: The midsole foam is 30% softer than the material used in traditional running shoes, and there is a 2.5x more volume than in most running shoes. The extra cushioning dissipates up to 80% of the shock associated with heel striking when running and allows for as much as 20mm of compression in the heel, plus extra protection allowing you to soar over asphalt surfaces.
ROCKERED MIDSOLE GEOMETRY AND LOW-HEEL DIFFERENTIAL: 4.5mm heel to toe drop and rockered profile creates a unique rolling motion that encourages proper form by allowing a runner to easily strike the ground near the midfoot.
CONTROL: The unique, patented bucket seat is recessed up to 20mm with the midsole unit so as to best position your foot for optimum control. This high degree of control also ensures you maintain responsive contact with the ground at all times.
STABILITY: The 25% wider outsole platform is designed to counter balance the excess height of the oversized midsole. This large surface area ensures that you will maintain a stable footing, no matter how hard you run.
SUPERIOR TRACTION: The outsole is specially designed for use on the road, the high surface volume of the lug pattern as well as the shallow treads ensure good grip on even wet surfaces and high levels of abrasion resistance when you push your shoes to the limit.
FEATHERLIGHT WEIGHT: Relative to its size, lighter than most road running shoes at less than 10oz., they make running uphill as much fun as running downhill and with less body fatigue.

Awesome shoe Review by eswinner
Satisfaction l had what I thought incurable Planters Fasciitis brought on my Chris McDougall's book and my efforts in minimalist running. I had intensive PT for five months and finally a cortisone shot. Thanks to the Bondi B, I can now blaze up and down the trails pain free. Satisfaction After running in the Hoka Mafates I thought that the Bondi B would be even better for me and I was right. The pair I ordered came in on a Friday at 2pm and the next morning I entered a 100 mile trail event wearing them. I brought other shoes as backups but didn't need them. Satisfaction This shoe enables me to run pavement, fast downhills,etc. without beating up my body. I'm able to train more with stronger efforts due to these shoes. Unbelievable shoes Review by Chuck
Satisfaction Bought my first pair of Hokas a few weeks ago. After putting about 100 miles on them I can say these are truly amazing shoes. These shoes eliminated almost alll of the pain in my feet that I have been battling with for almost a year. On top of that the rocker sole has made me a faster runner. One word of caution is that I ordered a half size up from what I usually wear (per the tri shop site recommendation), but I think I would have been better off ordering a full size up. Satisfaction I started with the Bondi about 6 months ago and now have mafate's and stinson's. These are the best running shoes I have ever had. Satisfaction one of the best shoes i have ran in...i've been running for over 20+ years and worn a lot of shoes and have worked in athletic shoe industry for 7 years. Hoka is really on to something here. super cushion and fit. size up a half size from an asics size is what i have done to get the right size. i can't wait to race in them in a few weeks at the WTC 70.3 world championships in vegas! and love their motto TIME TO FLY that's my plan :) (Posted on 8/30/11)
